Role: Payment Solution Specialist

Location: Birmingham (SCC operate a hybrid working policy giving you flexible working options)

Salary/Package: High basic, car and bonus - OTE circa £100K+

Our further growth and successes has created a need for a new role in the business, to scale up the attachment rate of SCC Payment Solutions, to develop/build/sustain the value and benefits of payment solutions to SCC and its customers through customer acquisition, customer retention and customer penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer needs, market developments and ensure SCC has a leading proposition
  • Work with Rigby Capital to ensure all product pricing, development and support services are efficient, compliant, and effective in maximizing value for SCC and Rigby Group
  • Be accountable for SCC UK to grow sales and margin related to Payment Solutions
  • Create and provide ongoing management of a pipeline of opportunities in line with the expectation of the business
  • Development of strong relationships with sales managers, product managers, specialist business unit managers
  • Conducting in depth reviews of clients/prospects to develop a strategy to promote our payment solutions offering
  • Support in client/prospect meetings, provide proposals to the sales team/clients, create and promote new propositions and work closely on opportunities to shape a commercial model that delivers value to the client
  • Work closely with all the SCC payment solutions partners ranging from Rigby Capital to vendor and bank-led partners
  • Work with Payment Solutions Team lead and marketing to develop marketing messages for internal and external use
  • Land and expand into clients once they have used our service to widen out our portfolio of Payment Solution products
  • Revisit key deals to retrospectively promote a Payment Solution vehicle

Key skills/experiences:

  • Solid experience working within Leasing/Financial Services/Technology sector, with a proven background in sales, business development or marketing
  • Strong capability demonstrate selling outcomes rather than products
  • Commercially-savvy with good exposure across Product management & marketing
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, with strong personal & inter relationship skills
