    Role Summary:

    We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative. This is a team based role within a successful and rapidly growing business, reporting to the warehouse team leader. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience and a proven track record of working within a warehouse environment and handling stock management and resource management whist meeting Key Performance Indicators in a high volume transaction environment.  Proven people management experience is essential.

    The key elements of the role are:

    • Singing in of orders using Proof of Delivery (POD) paperwork
    • Booking items onto the warehouse using TASSERACT stock management system
    • Locating items in warehouse physically, updating TASSERACT
    • Picking items as requested and updating TASSERACT
    • Preparing customer orders from either the Tail stock / Parts, refurbishment or PDI departments, ensuring they are loaded carefully and with appropriate packaging to maintain the integrity of the package during transit
    • To work with and oversee subcontractors in logistics and police the loading of our products for a safe load.
    • Communicate with Internal and external customers including FEDEX in the process of returns products, picked items, shipped items, planned deliveries
    • Housekeeping of warehouse and other area’s including external yard space.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To act with integrity and maintain all the group H&S policies and practices
    • Provide when required information and analysis of the KPI’s / trends for the Warehouse functions.
    • To follow personal Development plan and achieve standard throughout probationary period and beyond.
    • Identify, investigate and take action on any issues that arise within your remit
    • Understanding our customers’ contractual requirements and supporting the teams, so they can deliver excellent customer service.
    • Follow governance within the Warehouse and Workshop teams, ensuring correct processes and timelines are followed.
    • Management waste (General/Sharps/recyclable/Hazardous).
    • Ensure stock systems are followed and accurate
    • Undertake Risk Assessments and ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff, contractors and visitors
      • Clean Full Driving Licence
      • Change management experience
      • Print industry backgroundLocate and move machines when requested in all-weather types without damaging the machinesEssential Experience
        • People Teamwork skills (minimum 2 years)
        • Taking a leading role within a Warehouse environment
        • Stakeholder management
        • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
        • Stock management and movement systems
        • Data analysis across all three areas including KPI understanding and delivery
        • Capacity understanding
        • FLT experience

        Desirable Experience
