    The Practice Delivery Manager will be responsible and accountable for managing a team of IT architects at varying levels inclusive of all aspects of onboarding, work allocation, performance management, learning and development, and resource optimisation. The role holder will ensure the team are appropriately equipped and skilled to deliver a consistently excellent level of service to customers

    Main Duties of Job:

    •      Working with internal and external stakeholders to fulfil resource requests

    •      Manage team work schedules to ensure utilisation is maximised and work packets are correctly categorised and validated

    •      Contribute to financial performance targets through efficient resource utilisation

    •      Ensure forecasting of resource requirements is maintained and accurate

    •      Track, manage and regularly report on the presales opportunity pipeline

    •      Track and manage team absences ensuring appropriate coverage is in place at all times

    •      Actively maintain a team skills matrix identifying and closing skills gaps

    •      Identify and address learning and development requirements and produce training plans

    •      Schedule personal development reviews set objectives and track progress against these in line with the organisational framework

    •      Track and report upon the transformation team presales pipeline

    •      Collect, manage and report upon customer feedback and satisfaction

    •      Ensure corporate and departmental policies and processes are adhered to

    •      Determine recruitment requirements and carry out initial candidate screening

    •      Develop and manage an onboarding and induction process

    •      Scheduling and organisation of team meetings and one to ones

    Skills, Knowledge & Experience:


    •      At least three years’ experience of team management in a professional services environment

    •      Experience of scheduling and forecasting resource utilisation

    •      Knowledge of general HR practices and procedures

    •      Self-motivated and assertive

    •      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    •      Excellent interpersonal skills

    •      Experience of recruitment working alongside internal teams and external agencies

    •      Ability to work effectively to deadlines and under pressure

    •      Experience of presenting to groups of people

    •      Ability to support a geographically dispersed team


    •      Experience of working in the technology sector

    •      Appreciation of the corporate IT marketplace and an interest in technology as a whole

    •      Experience of working as part of a project team

    •      Supplier / vendor management
