    Our business continues to grow creating a real career opportunity for a Logistics Analyst based in Birmingham

    Overall Job Purpose:

    The prime role of the Logistics Analyst is to identify the type and quantity of items that are required  to support a new contract or update an existing one. It is also their responsibility to keep the stock at agreed levels within certain contracts.


    Main Duties:

    • Run Min Max reports on a daily basis for allocated or key accounts – identify shortfalls and replenish parts accordingly
    • Review the Min Max report criteria every three months to ensure that the requirements are accurate
    • Monitor parts shipments in transit status and investigate non deliveries to destination
    • Assist part usage and RMA generation
    • Validate, record and approve same day delivery request
    • Review Departmental Coded Exceptions and carry out corrective action when any trends are seen
    • Generating Purchase Orders using appropriate codes
    • Attend service review meetings as when required
    • Generation of Parts Listing to identify type and quantity of items
    • Investigate Exception Coding against departmental activities
    • Control monthly stock recalls from 4th party vendors
    • Escalate and report any quality issues arising from vendor recalls
    • Assist with Cost Model reports for Account Management teams
    • Generate reports to assist with Month End packs
    • Inject stock in our stocking system, when gold stock is provided from customers
    • Process requests for stock replenishments
    • Proactively process any tasks received via Task Manager
    • Periodically check stock levels with Subcontracting partners
    • Monitor any stock recall activity and ensure all recalled stock is returned within designated timescales
    • Sending stock to locations to ensure that stock is available for consumption and to allow for Part usage to take effect on reactive hardware calls
    • Any ad-hoc duties that may arise to assist the department with achieving its objectives

    Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

    • Must be presentable and professional at all time
    • Adhere, at all times, to Company policies and procedures
    • The ability to work as part of a team, and possess self-motivation qualities
    • Must be capable of working on his/her own initiative
    • Be methodical with good organisational skills
    • Must be able to work in a pro-active manner and attribute great attention to detail
    • Can relate to call management, invoicing and purchase order systems
    • Must possess the ability to relate and communicate professionally to other team members as well as internal and external customers
    • Must be articulate, numerate and with a good command of the English language
    • Must be able to work under pressure and be prepared to work overtime as and when required
    • Possess a willingness to help out on other tasks asked by the Manager and to provide cover where and when necessary
    • Attend internal/external meetings as and when required
    • Knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel and Word
    • Capable of passing Security Clearance checks as required
    • To actively promote Service Management and Information Security best practice within their areas of responsibility
