    SCC Lead Technical Architect is responsible for execution and team lead throughout the life cycle of focused consulting engagements with our valued customers. The Networks and Security Lead Architect will coordinate a team of diverse highly skilled engineers and consultants while also executing on individual projects. Mentoring skills are critical in ensuring that all team members are successful in completing their assigned Assessment, Audit, Design, and Implementation projects within Network and Security areas of expertise.

    • Experience in peer reviewing for documentation associated with Design, and Implementation to provide recommendations against industry and corporate standards.
    • Experience generating HLD and LLD for network and security solutions.
    • ‘Hands-on’ experience in designing and deploying Networking and Security solutions.
    • Familiarity with a variety of security and/or networking concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Design, implement and support customer’s converged business and manufacturing/industrial systems and user needs in parallel with their overall business strategies.
    • Write detailed documentation that could include user needs, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation requirements in order to develop or modify manufacturing infrastructure.
    • 5+ years’ experience in a role as a networking and security consultant and pre-sales representative providing high level technical consultancy in the design and implementation of multi-vendor networks.
    • Eligibility to gain SC accreditation is required.

    Skills Knowledge & Experience:

    A good knowledge and relevant accreditations are required across the following solution verticals in terms of products, marketplace and business relevance.

    • Enterprise Networking
      • Cisco Enterprise Networking portfolio (Cat 3k, Cat 9k, DNA Architecture)
      • Wireless Technology (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba)
      • Policy Engines (Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass)
      • Understanding software subscription models (Cisco ONE, DNA)
      • SD-WAN (Cisco)
    • Security & Mobility
      • NGFW: Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto
      • CASB solutions Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto
      • Endpoint protection: Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto. Any other skills on Symantec, RSA or Sophos will be beneficial.
      • SIEM and Security management solutions
      • Familiar with Security frameworks: Cyber Essentials, NIST, ISO27000
      • Familiar with Microsoft Security portfolio
    • Management & Monitoring Solutions
      • Cisco PRIME and DNA Center
      • Familiarity with other vendors (eg: Solarwinds, HPE IMC) would be useful.

    • Other vendor knowledge and experience (Checkpoint, Juniper, Infoblox, Riverbed, Sophos)
    • Experience in designing and articulating network and security architectural solutions.
    • Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations.
    • Experience/use of virtualisation technologies and their application in client architectures
    • Experience in articulating software defined solutions and automation as part of network and security solutions
    • Good working knowledge of implementing Change and Incident solutions within ITIL V3 processes and procedures.
    • Knowledge of network analysis, troubleshooting methodologies, and Application Performance Management systems that can be used in order to provide optimisation and pre deployment services for client networking solutions.
    • Familiar with cabling standards and specifications (e.g. UTP category 5&6, single and multi-mode fibre).
    • Knowledge of Server and PC operating systems.
