    • Overall Job Purpose:

     

     

    To provide a single point of ownership for all branch or sector IAM activity and escalation for customer supply related issues.  To provide people management, development, resource planning, process and procedure development for all team members.

    .

     

     

    • Main Duties of Job:

     

     

    • To understand the Sector and Customer base that you and your team look after.       To be aware of all planned projects within the customer base and any specific customer requirements or contracted service levels.

     

    • To allocate resource between the accounts, and ensure that there is adequate cover for holidays and sickness.

     

    • To recruit new members of the team as and when required.

     

    • To identify and coordinate the training needs of your team.

     

    • To ensure all orders, tasks, quotes and other requests are responded to within a timely manner and where they are not implement measures to ensure they are moving forwards.

     

    • Manage your team’s productivity, maintain team performance, and track progress in relation to quotes, orders, RANs and credits, aged debt, stock holdings.

     

    • Monitor and evaluate Win/Loss ratios, Key accounts, Growth, Margin, customer profitability, key trends…

     

    • Resolve issues, improvement opportunities, progress tracking

     

    • Standardise processes and follow SCC best practice.

     

    • Improve branch quoting and ordering process to improve customer service and reduce SCC processing cost.

     

    • Identify and address process issues and gaps.

     

    • Identify improvement opportunities

     

    • Raise and Share IAM/Order processing issues with local team

     

    • Ownership and resolution of customer challenges and concerns

     

    • Regular meetings and communication with your team to focus on:

     

      • Performance
      • Key issues
      • Information sharing
      • Process improvement
      • Quality concerns
      • Training needs
      • Team feedback and concerns

     

    • To carry out performance and probation reviews with the IAM’s ensuring KPI’s are set and continually measured.

     

    • To ensure that all internal procedures are kept updated and comply with the required standards.

     

    • To keep the teams up to date with supply chain developments and to attend the supply chain steering committee, to aid process change and continual improvement.

     

    • To liaise and problem solve with all relevant SCC functions including but not limited to London Commercial Administration Manager/Team, Credit Control, Warehouse, Operations, Enterprise. It is essential that you build relationships with these departments and maintain regular contact in order to ensure that any challenges can be dealt with and rectified in a speedy manner.

     

    • To carry out other ad hoc duties as required in the best interests of SCC and the customer.

     

    • To drive a culture of talking to people rather than using email.

     

    • To provide support to bids where supply chain services are required
