Due to our continued growth and success we now have a new opportunity for an Auditor to join our finance team working at our headquarters in Birmingham with occasional visits to our offices in France to conduct audits .
French language skills would be advantageous but not essential .
The candidate will work with our internal audit team conducting operational and compliance audits, nationally and internationally.
The Internal Auditor will audit the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of SCC’s internal controls and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency, enhance internal controls and reduce costs where possible.
We are very interested to speak with candidates with a wide spectrum of experience and qualifications .
Qualified or part qualified ACCA or ACA with willingness to study towards CIA , CISA OR CMIIA – coming from accountancy practice and wanting to move into an internal audit role .
CIA qualified with internal audit experience
CISA or similar qualification and wanting to study towards CIA or CMIIA
Intermediate level of French would be advantageous but not essential
Good knowledge of accounting and business processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Data analysis experience would be helpful together with any experience in tools such as PowerBI , Tableau , SQL , VBA , Python etc
Must be willing to travel – 25% of time
Depending on experience training will be provided
