Demand for our Data Centre services continues to grow both from existing and new customers, creating a real career opportunity for a talented individual to join us at our Birmingham Data Centre as an Endpoint management Senior Technical Specialist working on our innovative secure managed endpoint services. Part of a dedicated endpoint management team, this role will focus on designing, documenting, implementing and escalation support of all endpoint services within our secure cloud platform, including the underlying delivery and management platforms. We strongly promote a culture of continual service and quality improvement, driving analysis and adoption of the latest methods and techniques. Key Responsibilities Windows modern desktop endpoint management solution design and administration. Windows operating system and application deployment and delivery. Design and deployment of bare-metal builds, task sequences and implementations to support new and existing customers. into Providing third level operational\BAU escalation support for managed endpoints and the related management platforms – in depth Troubleshooting capabilities; and owning incidents and problems as they arise. Perform detailed and comprehensive root cause analysis as necessary. Group Policy design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Proactive endpoint maintenance and health checks, including generating supporting reports. Creation and maintenance of all endpoint related documents, including transition into service. handovers supported by customer focused documentation and quick reference guides.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an excellent track record of working on designing, implementing, improving, and supporting enterprise endpoint management environments and the associated managed endpoint estates.
Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with an agile attitude and a logical/methodical approach, able to handle multiple customers and projects.
Candidates should ideally have experience of working in a large-scale managed services\solution provider environment, with a rapidly expanding customer base.
5yrs 5 years minimum experience of managing Windows endpoints in a technically complex environment, to an advanced level, preferably within a highly secure enterprise environment
Significant experience of working and delivering to large scale high value project streams.
Strong demonstrable experience in endpoint management solution design and implementation, backed by excellent documentation skills encompassing High\Low Level Designs and support collateral.
Good Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure related subjects.
Proven track record of working with 3rd party customers and suppliers in a design, project, and support perspective. In depth experience gained within a modern SCCM\MECM environment managing 2000+ endpoints.
Advanced knowledge of OSD, SQL, SUP, WSUS\patch deployments, compliance baselines, Task Sequences, endpoint management RBAC, and application deployments. Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Microsoft Desktop Optimisation Pack (MDOP).
Experience in administering and designing Group Policy.
Strong Scripting skills, ideally PowerShell. Development of custom endpoint management reports using SCCM\MECM or third-party tooling.
Methodical and technically minded with strong focus on high quality standards and excellent attention to detail.
Design, documentation skills Highly developed fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
Thorough understanding of security concepts relating to desktop environments
Current SC clearance or must possess the ability to pass SC clearance application.
Experience of working in a cloud based organisation
Recent Microsoft endpoint management certifications Intune and Autopilot knowledge and hands on experience
Experience of non-Microsoft endpoint device management toolsets such as Tanium or Tachyon Wider Active Directory management experience
Experience working in an accredited and ISO compliant organisation
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and lifecycle management
B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
Experience of working in a multi-client managed services provider Application and desktop virtualisation (App-V, Citrix)
