    SCC are currently undergoing a major transformation programme which involves standardising processes and implementing a new ERP System – Microsoft Dynamics 365

    This is a multimillion, multiyear rollout of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations across the business, including replacement of Finance Systems and Supply Chain Management Operations with Warehousing and Transport

    Job Main Focus 

    • Using the latest technology, Dynamics 365 F&O. You will be responsible for several phases throughout the project lifecycle including Finance, Projects and Supply Chain Management
    • As Finance Solution Architect you would be the lead for the implementation of the Finance aspects of F&O
    • This is a complex programme with a significant number solution gaps and integrations to be delivered
    • The SA will be responsible for delivering the already agreed solution design for the new D365 system
    • This will include business process optimisation, system configuration and customisation as well as integrations with existing applications·         

    Main Accountabilities 

    • Define and drive the elements of the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O related to Finance including GL, Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash processes
    • Provide leadership by working closely with Project Managers and key stake holders in the organisation to help drive user understanding and adoption of new system
    • Provide best practices as part of functional design documents for solution gaps, integrations, data migration, user roles and reporting
    • Provide technical guidance to the project team throughout the implementation to ensure accurate delivery of the project plans
    • Facilitate discussions with a range of business stakeholders to understand critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of process design, software configurations, customisations, and integrations to meet those needs
    • Work closely with the Programme Manager, Technical and Functional team members to ensure a clear end solution

    Technical Skills/Competencies 

    ·        Microsoft Dynamics D365 FO (essential)

    ·        Experience Designing & Delivering D365FO

    ·        Strong ERP Functional Architecture experience

    ·        Knowledge of Business Processes, specifically related to Finance & Accounting

    ·        Lead the Solution Delivery for your specific work stream

    ·        Manage functional resources

    ·        Work closely with PMs, Technical Architects, Consultants

    ·        Strong Engagement and Influencing skills

    ·        Full life cycle experience: Workshops, Requirement gathering, Functional design, Business process analysis, Implementation, Testing, Go-live, Training

    ·        At least 3 Full cycle D365 implementations

    ·        Proven ability to create innovative solutions to complex business requirements as well as optimising business processes

    ·        Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation
