The Client Applications Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the management and delivery of the customer’s applications portfolio, and with configuring, managing, and reporting on, the deployment of packaged applications to the estate.
Working within the Technical Services team, the Client Applications Engineer will co-ordinate customer requests for applications, control the UAT process, and be accountable for the quality and delivery of new and upgraded applications to the client estate.
The role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and a keen eye for detail as well as strong customer service skills. An understanding of applications packaging technologies and SCCM would be desirable as you’ll be expected to get involved across all elements of the service. Training and mentoring will be provided to the candidate that demonstrates the suitable qualities and attributes to be successful.
Overall Job Purpose:

To assist the delivery of IT Services to the end client through supply of contracted services and value add. Deliver an effective and efficient customer focused service to all staff for SCC clients, meeting service level agreements and customer expectations.

• Assist with managing the customer application portfolio
