We now have an exciting career opportunity for a talented administrator/personal assistant to work closely with a senior personal assistant to assist in providing full clerical support to senior directors based at our European Headquarters in Birmingham .
The Role :
To provide full administration support to designated board member directors .
Assisting the Personal Assistant
Travel and accommodation arrangements .
Organising both internal and external meetings
Attending meetings , taking minutes and ensuring follow up actions are fully completed .
Preparing and circulating agendas , papers and reports for meetings .
Presenting a professional and welcoming first contact to all clients , by phone , mail and in person .
Monitoring director’s e-mails
Support director in coordinating communication and collaboration on key projects .
Assist director with HR related issues eg job offers , variations , grievances etc .
Skills and Experience :
Experience gained in an administration role involving support of managers .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to deal confidently at all levels of contact .
Well developed organisational skills .
Ability to work in a fast paced , dynamic environment .
A perceptive and proactive nature and able to work on own initiative
A high level of integrity and discretion .
Advanced IT skills gained in Microsoft Office suite , Excel , PowerPoint etc.
Flexible and adaptable attitude .
Strong work ethic
