    Due to increasing demand for our solutions and services we now have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator to be based at our sales office in Bristol .

    Overall Job Purpose  :

    Working  as part of the Sales Administration team  your  role will  be to provide effective  customer service to all our customers .

    Your role will be to predominantly  manage  all new customer  purchase orders  through our systems  , adopting a right first time  approach , proactively  working  with other teams to ensure that customers’ orders  are fulfilled quickly and efficiently .

    Working as part of a busy team , you will be continually  met by customer demands and challenges , some of which  will test your skills  and abilities to their limits .

    To enable you to succeed in this position  you will need  to be a team player and demonstrate enthusiasm , forward thinking and ability  to work  under pressure   as well as demonstrating  excellent communication skills .

    Main Duties :

    Acceptance  and progression of all customer orders to ensure that the orders are delivered  in accordance  with the  contractual  agreed ‘ service level ‘ or ‘agreed date’ .

    Managing  the customers’  back order reports and liaising  with both internal departments and suppliers  , to obtain the best possible supply  dates for customers .

    Assisting with customer project and bonded requirements , scheduling , reporting, stock control .

    Ensuring that all returns and credits are processed  in a timely manner  and in accordance with the returns policy.

    Logging delivery discrepancies and liaising with  couriers .

    Assisting  the sales  team/credit control with aged debt issues and disputed invoices .

    Management of all customer enquiries , responding in a professional  way ; having the ability  to tailor the communication to the audience , conveying information  in an effective , efficient and concise way .

    Prompt, polite and efficient answering of all customer telephone enquiries .

    Skills ,Knowledge and Experience :

    Previous experience in an administrative /customer service role

    IT literate  and  experience in using MS packages .

    Excellent communication skills

    Organised and methodical with good attention to detail

    Excellent interpersonal skills  , with the ability to build relationships internally and externally .

    A pragmatic  ” can do ” attitude

    Reliable with a strong work ethic.
